Q Meets A: a Surrealist Poetry Game

Last night 4 Culture in Seattle had an open house and hired me to create a game that would encourage mingling. In response, I spent way too many hours handwriting questions and answers by poets onto name tags.

Guests were all given either a question or an answer to wear and told to, “think like a poet” as they hunt for a conceptual match. When they found someone whose Q went with their A, they came back and got a gift.

Joe Paul Slaby made a great partner in surrealism.
