On Tuesday, April 9, I will be reading poems at HEDGEBROOK RISING along with Celebrated poet Carolyn Forché and other amazing performers to celebrate Hedgebrook’s 25th anniversary and extraordinary alumnae community in an electrifying evening of poetry and song. Other performers include: Elizabeth Austen, Tara Hardy, Storme Webber, Mary Lambert, Rose McAleese, Susan Rich and Choklate Moore.
If you don’t know, Hedgebrook is a WRITING RETREAT FOR WOMEN WRITERS! It has nurtured some of the best women writers in country and internationally with what writers need the most: quiet time. Nestled in the wood on Whidbey Island, Hedgebrook is a gift for women hiding in the Puget Sound.
