Fall Round-Up!

I have BLOG SHAME. It’s been sitting at the bottom of my To Do list all summer, hoping for a rainy day or for me to be trapped in an airport. But how can the blog compete with sun, summer camps, shows and novel writing?  It is finally fall and “update blog” crept to the top of the pile. In celebration, here are some highlights from my recent adventures.

I did a benefit show at Fremont Abbey with the brilliant poet Sarah Kay to aid relief efforts in Nepal. Here we are with the owners of the Kathmandu bookstore, Quixote’s Cove, Pranab Singh and Suvani Singh.

I got to teach with several inspiring writers and teaching artists including Shontina Vernon and Anastacia Tolbert, seen here after feeding a Llama.
