Join Distinguished Writer in Residence, Natalie Goldberg, former Creative Resident, Karen Finneyfrock, and 2017 Creative Resident, Kisha Lewellyn Schlegel, for a Day of Writing at Bloedel Reserve. The day will begin with a guided walk through the garden with an eye on the emergence of spring. The walk will be followed by lunch and a talk with Natalie Goldberg. In the afternoon, participants will break into two groups: poetry and prose. Karen Finneyfrock and Kisha Lewellyn Schlegel will lead generative sessions utilizing Bloedel’s landscape for inspiration. The day will conclude with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for participants and facilitators.
